We are a non-profit company with a single objective of exposing as many poor and previously-disadvantaged youth to coding. We believe that the future and hope of South Africa playing a meaningful role in the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR) lies in the ICT skills available for school learners.

The Coding Youth Foundation introduces basic computer literacy and coding skills to the previously disenfranchised youth of the Free State in South Africa. Since January 2022, we have reached and developed 88 high school learners with either Microsoft 365 or HTML & CSS coding skills.

The persistent and visionary leadership of our founders and executive committee including the passion and drive of our learners, The Coding Youth Foundation has grown to unexpected heights since its inception.

VISION

The Coding Youth Foundation aims to expose as many black and historically-disadvantaged youth to coding as possible and strives to be a pioneer in coding skills development in South Africa.

MISSION

To develop a technology-driven generation through coding and basic computer literacy while narrowing the gap in ICT skills. To achieve this by introducing computer literacy and coding skills to school learners and prepare them for the fourth industrial revolution (4IR)

A simple and comprehensive set of values ensure the consistent success and ongoing sustainability of the foundation.
